Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to build your website, take payment for it, and pay the rep who sold it. We do not sell your information, and we never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that.

We hold:

• Your business details — name, category, address, phone, social handles, and menu or service items — as your rep collected them, plus publicly listed information about your business from Google.
• The website address you choose at checkout.
• A record of your purchase: the plan, the amount charged, and the Stripe reference for it.

Your card details go straight to Stripe from the payment form. We never receive them. Stripe keeps your saved card so it can bill the monthly service fee.

Your application includes only:

• Your name, email address, and phone number.
• The referral code of the rep who sent you, if you had one.
• The date and time you checked the certification box agreeing to the contractor terms.

That is the whole application. Your legal name, date of birth, mailing address, tax identity (SSN or EIN), and bank details are collected by Stripe when you set up payouts, and are held by Stripe, not by us — Stripe also files your Form 1099 from that information. We never ask for it and it never reaches our database. Once you are selling, we also hold the leads you enter and the sales you close.

We use these services to run the product. Each one only receives what it needs for its job:

• Supabase — Our database and sign-in. Holds accounts, applications, leads, and sales.
• Stripe — Payments and rep payouts. Collects card details directly and the tax and bank details reps need to be paid.
• Vercel — Hosting for this site and the sites we build, and the registrar we buy customer domains through.
• Resend — Sends the transactional email we send you, such as a preview link.
• Anthropic — Suggests website addresses at checkout. Receives the business name and city, nothing else.
• Google — Public business listing data (rating, hours, summary) used to build the preview site.

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We will hand over information if the law requires it.

Business and sale records are kept while your site is live and after that for as long as we need them for tax and accounting — generally seven years for anything involving money. Applications from reps we did not take on are kept only as long as we need them to make and record that decision.

Email support@snagg.me to see what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do what we can — records tied to a completed payment we have to keep for tax purposes are the exception, and we will tell you if that applies.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your information. Ask us and we will honour them.
